Ever come back from a beach vacation with your pockets filled with shells, beach stones, sea glass and other bits of flotsam you just had to take home with you? Found a great trinket at the junk shop or on the sidewalk and thought it would be great in a jewelry piece? Dying to use that great druzy or chunk of lapis but it has no hole? This is the workshop for you! We’ll take you though the basic tools, techniques and safety information for drilling all kinds of different objects. Everyone will go home with their pockets full of drilled goodies as well as all the information you need to drill at home. Feel free to bring some little treasures you want to drill and we will have piles of beach stones, sea glass, shells and more for you to practice on before tackling your beauties. No experience necessary, and students are asked to bring their own pair of safety glasses to the workshop.
