Skill Levels: Intermediate. Familiarity with basic metalsmithing techniques required (Prior use of a jeweler’s saw, planishing and dapping specifically).
Dates/Times: February 1, from 8:30am to 11:30am
Fees: $150 » (supplies and consumables included)

Etch a sheet of sterling silver using electro etch techniques. We will discuss and use several methods of resists that will hold up to the etching process for silver. When out etching is complete we will select several shapes, cut them out from the sheet, dap them for dimension and make ear wires to match.
Intermediate – familiarity with basic metalsmithing techniques required (Prior use of a jeweler’s saw, planishing and dapping specifically).
Materials provided by the instructor for up to three pair of earrings depending on size. You will receive one piece of sterling silver 3” x 4” in your kit along with 12” of 20g sterling silver wire. Additional materials will be available for purchase.
Tools required:
Instructor will provide limited tools for sharing.
If you don’t want to share, please bring:
Jewelers saw
Files (half round and flat)
