This is a basic introductory class in working with silver metal clay. You will make a beautiful pendant and earring set, while learning the basics of working with silver metal clay. You will learn how to manipulate the metal clay to shape it, roll it, texture it, cut it to shape and make a bail. Once the clay is dry, you will refine the pendant and earrings and get them ready for firing. Once fired you will polish your pieces and if time permits, apply patina to bring out the definition of the texture. No previous experience is required for this class, all skill levels welcome. Projects will be finished in class. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
