Micro Chasing is based on two ancient techniques, Repousse and Chasing. Simply put, it’s a method of creating wonderful dimension and detail in metal by pushing and pulling it back to front and front to back. The classic European technique for this is complicated and requires many specialized tools-we will not be doing that in this class. We will be achieving the same amazing result using a couple of simple tools and a malleable piece of copper (this technique is also good with sterling) and a work surface. We promise, you will use this technique over and over again with great success! Intermediate skill participants welcome.
