Create an unusual and contemporary bracelet that originates from the tradition of Japanese chainmail. It’s easy to make and versatile—you could add charms to the large rings if you wished.
This project is from my new book: Modern Chain Mail Jewelry.
Pre-requisite: Completion of a couple of previous chain mail projects.
Tools designed for chain mail will be provided for class use but you may bring your personal tools.
Bring eyeglasses or magnifiers for close-up work.
The kit includes step-by-step, illustrated instructions, 3 sizes of jump rings (Argentium® sterling silver or copper) and classic, quality toggles in sterling or copper-plated pewter. Makes up to a 9” bracelet.
All rings are saw-cut and polished.
