Kim is an award winning designer of finished jewelry and findings. She has been designing or making jewelry for most of her life. Her company HandFast Design by Kim Fox provides artisan designed and crafted clasps, cones and connectors. She has been addicted to kumihimo for about 6 years. From her love of kumihimo she has designed clasps, cones and connectors that are perfect for kumihimo designs. She has had her component and kumihimo designs appear in books and magazines. Kim’s education includes diplomas from GIA in gemology and design as well as Jewelry Technology from Revere. Kim has been teaching adults skills for over 30 years. Make this necklace that combines knotting the pearls, lampwork or gemstone beads in the front and adding cords and then kumihimo at the sides.

Intermediate level Class Experience with beading preferred. Class is from 1-5
and includes class fees, beads and cord, and $25 credit towards findings to finish the necklace.
May not be completed during class
Kumihimo disk may be purchased for $10 if you don’t have one
