Okay, you’ve been asking for years, sooooooo… here it is! Prong Settings! We will cover how to make prongs from scratch, how to use pre-made prongs, how to set uneven stones, calibrated stones, etc. Extensive handouts will cover basket setting assembly, prong cutting, and many other aspects. In class we will make a simple setting using a cabochon and sterling wire, also adding a 3,4 and 6mm CZ with premade settings. A small cabochon will be provided with the class, or you may bring your own (cabochon only) no bigger than 25mm x 25mm x10mm. Must have previous Torch Soldering Experience. Beginning Soldering (Giving on 1/28 or 1/31) is an excellent pre-requisite. All tools are provided. Your seat in the class is secured when the class is paid for.
