Our commitment
Garan-Beadagio, LLC is committed to making BeadAndDesign.com usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technologies or navigate by keyboard, voice, magnification, or other alternative methods.
Accessibility is part of our ongoing website design, development, content, and testing process. We aim for practical conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA wherever reasonably possible.
Accessibility features
As the website is rebuilt and improved, our work includes:
- Clear page structure, headings, landmarks, and descriptive page titles.
- A skip link and keyboard-accessible navigation.
- Visible keyboard focus indicators and logical focus order.
- Readable text, sufficient color contrast, responsive layouts, and support for browser zoom.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images and accessible names for controls.
- Labels, instructions, and understandable error messages for forms.
- Reduced-motion support for visitors who request it through their device settings.
- Accessible behavior for menus, dialogs, slideshows, and other interactive features.
Ongoing review
We use automated testing as one part of our review, but we do not rely on automated tools alone. We also review pages for keyboard use, focus behavior, text resizing, responsive layouts, and the logical experience of visitors using assistive technology.
Because the website contains changing event information, exhibitor content, photographs, and links to outside services, accessibility work is ongoing. We may not always identify or correct every issue immediately, but we welcome reports that help us improve.
Event and venue accessibility
Our shows take place at venues operated by third parties, and accessibility features can vary by location. Individual show pages may include venue, parking, admission, and service-animal information when it is available.
For questions about physical access, parking, seating, communication assistance, or another event-related accommodation, please contact us as early as possible before the show. We will make reasonable efforts to provide information and coordinate with the venue when appropriate.
Third-party websites and services
This website may link to or use services provided by ticketing platforms, payment processors, maps, social networks, venues, exhibitors, instructors, and other third parties. We do not control those services, but we encourage our providers and partners to offer accessible experiences.
If a third-party service creates a barrier, please tell us what you were trying to accomplish. We may be able to provide the information another way or help identify an alternative path.
Report an accessibility problem
Please contact us if you encounter an accessibility barrier or need information in another format. Helpful details include the page address, what you were trying to do, what went wrong, and the browser, device, or assistive technology you were using. You do not need to provide technical details if you do not know them.
We review accessibility feedback and will make reasonable efforts to respond and address confirmed issues.
