Skills covered in this class include cutting wire to length, using a hammer to texture the metal, filing edges, soldering, managing the flow of solder, protecting fine chain from excess heat during soldering, and finally polishing and finishing.

Yes, you can make your own silver links!
In this class, you will be guided through?the process of creating handmade silver chain links. Using silver
wire, you will create a one to five link chain (up to you), and then attach it to a fine commercial chain,
using techniques demonstrated in class to avoid solder flowing up the chain to stiffen it All steps will be
carefully demonstrated and explained by an experienced and patient teacher.
When you leave class, you will not only have successfully made your first chain necklace?but you will
also take with you a comprehensive handout, with fully illustrated step-by-step instructions to help you
get started in your home studio.

can?t make it.

and supplies.
NOTE: We provide all the tools and equipment for use in the class, and tools will be available for
purchase if desired, to be delivered to your home address after the show.
