Learn to solder and set a stone as you create this beautiful silver pendant. Silver soldering is a multi-step process, but under the guidance of an experienced and patient teacher, you will learn every step as we all create the pendant shown in the illustration—no experience necessary! Skills covered in this class include creating a granule, soldering, setting the cabochon, and polishing and finishing. Class fee is $95.00. Cabochon and solderable accent availability may vary—or you can provide your own 10 mm round cabochon and accent. Cost of the kit with all the components will be $65. When you leave class, you will not only have successfully soldered your first piece of wearable art—but you will also take with you a comprehensive handout, with fully illustrated step-by-step instructions to help you get started in your home studio. We will either make room or put you on a waitlist in case another student can’t make it. Please, no requests for refunds less than three days before the show, due to the planning needed for travel and supplies. NOTE: We provide all the tools and equipment for use in the class, and discounted tools will be available for purchase if desired, delivered to your home address after the show.
