Melissa Mauk Rodarte’s true love is to teach beading. Her talents include getting pesky knots out of thread, threading stubborn needles, and unique project problem solving (aka bead surgery.) She has been beading for over 20 years and teaching for more than half of that time. She loves when one of her designs synergistically bonds students together with a creative purpose.

A little bit steampunk, this abstract floral pendant is a fun
workshop to explore the potential of 2-hole crescent beads.
They are used to create prongs to “set” your rivoli in place
and are also used to crate a floral petal motif for the outer
layer of the pendant.

1 12mm rivoli
42 2mm druks (smooth rounds)
21 3mm bicones
2-3 colors 2-hole crescents (8 of each color - for 24 total)
1 color mini-duos
2-3 colors 15/0 seed beads
