Cuffs are all the rage today, with people often wearing several at a time! I hope you can join me to learn how to create your own beautiful Boho Hand Stamped Copper Cuff! We will first determine the size of cuff you will be making based on your wrist size. You will select your stamps and practice on a heavy gauge piece of copper to get the feel of the force you will need to imprint your design, before you actually attempt it on your cuff. You will be annealing (heating) your piece of copper periodically to soften it back up to help make a deeper impression with your next stamping. Final shaping of the cuff will be done with special pliers to achieve the perfect fit. Then you will work harden the cuff so that it will keep its shape. Once your cuff is completed, patina will be added to highlight the details, and you will finish it up by polishing. Wear it alone or with other bracelets on your wrist...the compliments will definitely be coming your way! I try to limit my classes to 6 students, so you will all receive my individual attention. Class Fee includes Heavy Gauge Copper Wire along with use of Handmade Metal Stamps and Torches. All tools are provided for use in class. Nothing to bring but yourself! Previous torch use is a plus, but not necessary to successfully complete this class.
