Did you see the video? It shows me doing this project. Check it out...and then come on by the studio and do it with me. I provide the enamels and decals to choose from as well as the copper sheet and the fire. When you leave you will have three cool pieces that can be a pendant and earrings or maybe links for a bracelet or necklace. We'll use a torch and tools...good times. And you'll learn about designing your own decals so you can really take your projects to the next level.

Yes, you can make rings! In this class, you will be guided through the process of determining the length of metal needed to produce a particular ring size including for a ring that will be textured after soldering. Using various styles of silver wire, you will create three different rings in the same size, to be worn as a set. As time allows, you will add a small cabochon in a pre-made setting to one of the rings. All steps will be carefully demonstrated and explained by an experienced and patient teacher. Skills covered in this class include cutting wire to length, using a hammer to texture the metal, filing edges, soldering, setting a cabochon, and finally polishing and finishing. Cabochon availability and pricing will vary—or you can provide your own calibrated 5 mm stone. Cost of the kit with all the components will be $45 in addition to the class fee of $95. When you leave class, you will not only have successfully made your first rings—but you will also take with you a comprehensive handout, with fully illustrated step-by-step instructions to help you get started in your home studio. We will either make room or put you on a waitlist in case another student can’t make it. Here is a two-for class. First we make the metal clay charms and then we add color with enamels. Since metal clay is pure silver it loves enamel and the colors stay so true and lovely. We’ll spend 3 hours and you’ll come away with a pendant and matching earrings.

This is pure entry level metal clay. Get to know the material. You’ll imprint the surface, maybe even both sides, cut out a shape, fix up a hole and…once it’s dry, you’ll refine the edges and surface before firing it with a torch. The finished charms will be pure solid silver ready for polishing or patina or both. You can add ear wires for earrings or jump rings to hang them as charms. This is the gateway drug to metal clay. Find out its possibilities.

Learn to solder and set a stone as you create this beautiful silver pendant. Silver soldering is a multi-step process, but under the guidance of an experienced and patient teacher, you will learn every step as we all create the pendant shown in the illustration—no experience necessary! Skills covered in this class include creating a granule, soldering, setting the cabochon, and polishing and finishing. Class fee is $95.00. Cabochon and solderable accent availability may vary—or you can provide your own 10 mm round cabochon and accent. Cost of the kit with all the components will be $65. No experience needed! Learn to create unusual earrings in this introduction to the ancient Korean art of Keum-boo, where 24 kt gold is fused to fine silver and patinated to create a unique effect. Keum-boo is a simple but precise process and the instructor for this class will walk you carefully and thoroughly through the process step-by-step, as we all create earrings that are your interpretation of those shown in the illustration. Each step will be carefully demonstrated and explained, but you will be able to bring your own design ideas to the project. Skills covered in this class include depletion gilding, cutting and placing foil, fusing, and patinating the metal, and finally polishing and finishing. Silver blanks will be available in a selection of shapes, and availability may vary. Cost of the kit with all the components needed to make earrings will be $85 including the silver ear wires, in addition to the class fee of $95. Everyone loves earrings! And they are so easy to make. There are so many options. Well, we'll explore a bunch of earring options in this beginning jewelry making class using wire and headpins, chain, beads and simple wire working tools. Expect to make at least 4 pairs of earrings if not more. Most supplies and tools provided but other supplies such as sterling silver and handmade beads and findings are also available for purchase.

Learn how to make your own clasp and ear wires, and you’ll always have the parts that you need, made to your own style needs. We’ll make hook clasps in a variety of styles, as well as a variety of ear wires. And with the aid of a small torch, we’ll make our own ball headpins, that can be used for charms, ear wires, and other cool findings. This is just your start. Once you get some foundation skills under your belt, you’ll be able to expand upon it and make the coolest jewelry. Copper, sterling silver, and gold filled wire will be available for purchase. Tools are provided for this two hour class.

Beginners are welcome to this wire wrap bracelet class. I've found that the best way to learn wire wrapping is to make a bracelet. You repeat the steps over and over and the next thing you know you've made a bracelet. A variety of wire, beads, and a lobster claw clasp will be available for purchase. Tools are provided for this two hour class.

Wire wrap a delicate and elegant gemstone bracelet in either sterling silver or gold filled wire. There will be sparkly pave goodies you can add in your design to make it even more special. There will also be an assortment of gemstone beads to choose from for your design. It’s a basic wire wrapping project that will give you the skills to create many other wire wrap jewelry designs. Beginners are welcome.
